Best GTM engineering agencies (Clay ecosystem), 2026

GTM engineering is the practice of building automated revenue systems with AI, data and workflow automation, in Clay's words. This list covers eight agencies from Clay's partner directory plus Tibexa. Only RevPartners publishes prices, so we ordered the agencies by how clearly their own sites state price, engagement terms and who owns what gets built.

Tibexa publishes this ranking and sells outbound services, so it is a vendor in this market. Every entry was checked against the linked sources on October 18, 2026.

How we chose and how the list is ordered

Tibexa publishes this list and is a vendor, so it appears as an entry and is ranked on the same criteria as the others. We took the agencies from the first page of Clay's partner directory, which shows 188 results across seven pages. The other six pages are not covered here, so this is a subset of the ecosystem. We then read each agency's own site. Everything below was checked on 18 October 2026.

Four criteria set the order, in this priority: a published price (only RevPartners has one), engagement terms stated on the site, such as a pilot length, a planning phase or a fit threshold, a statement of who owns the result when the work ends, and how central GTM engineering is to what the agency sells. The order measures how much a buyer can learn before a sales call. We have not verified any agency's client results, and the order is not a judgment on delivery.

The tier column comes from Clay's directory. Clay describes Elite Studio as partners "solving the toughest go-to-market problems for the largest enterprises around the world" and Advanced Artisan as "an established Clay expert and GTM advisor or fractional leader for larger organizations" (Clay). Those are Clay's labels for partner type, and they say nothing about results. For tools instead of agencies, see the Clay alternatives list. For agencies that run outreach for you, see the B2B lead generation agencies list.

What GTM engineering means, in Clay's words

Clay's guide defines it as "the practice of building automated revenue systems with AI, data, and workflow automation". The same page says "the unit of work is a system, not a task": the engineer builds the workflow that researches every account, updates every record and drafts every follow-up (Clay guide).

Clay separates the role from RevOps. Per the guide, "RevOps keeps the existing motion running", while GTM engineering "builds new revenue plays on top of that foundation". On its blog Clay says its own GTM engineers act "like an internal product team that serves our GTM organization" and are measured on "meetings booked and hours saved" (Clay blog). Its how-to guide says a system "starts with a constraint, not a tool" and describes the core workflow as source, enrich, research, verify and route (Clay how-to guide).

Two caveats. Clay says it coined the term in 2023 and that about 100 GTM engineering job listings appear each month. Neither figure has a source on the page, so read both as Clay's claims. Clay also sells the platform these agencies build on, so this is a vendor's definition.

It still gives a buyer three questions for any agency. Which constraint will the first workflow fix? What does the workflow do each time it runs? Can your team operate it after the engagement ends? Only Scalantec and Tibexa address ownership of the build on the pages we read. The playbook on list building with Clay shows what a typical first workflow looks like.

RevPartners

Best for B2B companies running HubSpot that want a priced fractional RevOps team with Clay work included. RevPartners' homepage describes "an experienced RevOps department embedded in your team", HubSpot onboarding and migrations, and Clay implementations with "foundational build and playbooks". It claims to be "the only business in the world to hold Elite Accreditations with both HubSpot & Clay", which is the company's own statement. Clay's directory lists it at Elite Studio.

It is the only agency here with a published price list. Fractional RevOps is a monthly cost in five tiers: Bronze $9,850, Silver $14,500, Gold $19,000, Platinum $23,000 and Diamond $27,000, with a 6-month initial term and a one-time $5,000 onboarding fee. HubSpot Fast Track projects start at $1,500 (Sales), $3,000 (Marketing) and $4,000 (the two bundled), each listed at 14 to 30 days. The Clay implementation, which integrates HubSpot and Clay with 5 playbooks, is $25,000 one-time with a 90-day launch. The page also lists allbound marketing retainers and links to more HubSpot tiers that we did not see. Limit to know: the offer is built around HubSpot, and Clay is one product in a longer list. Growth Today

Best for B2B teams with $1M or more in revenue that want content, outbound and account-based ads built as one system. Growth Today describes itself as an AI-native go-to-market agency with three engines (Content, Automated Outbound and ABM Ads) and add-ons such as TAM Radar and REX, an AI email-reply agent. Its FAQ says it is "among the 20-ish of Clay Enterprise agency partners globally", which is the company's own claim. Clay's directory lists it at Studio tier.

It sells a 90-day pilot with milestones and a Day 90 performance review, and says there is "no long-term lock in". Setup takes 2 to 3 weeks from scratch, or under a week if sender domains and mailboxes already exist. The page says it limits how many clients it takes. Pricing is not published. Limit to know: the page claims 130+ B2B teams as clients in one place and 120+ in another, and its estimate that an in-house SDR costs about $60,000 to $80,000 a year is the company's own figure. Growth Engine X

Best for companies with a large addressable market that want cold email run for them. The old domain, growthenginex.com, redirects to coldoutbound.com, where the agency sells B2B lead generation by cold email and says "We Send 8 Million+ Emails Per Month" (the company's claim). It describes three pillars: email infrastructure, including backup domains warming in reserve, list building and campaign strategy. Clay's directory lists it at Elite Studio, says it was founded by Eric Nowoslawski, a long-time Clay expert and former Clay employee, and the site shows a Clay Elite Studio Partner badge.

Of the agencies here, it states fit most explicitly. Its best-fit client has a target market of 100K+ contacts, lifetime gross profit over $5,000 and a sales team in place. It says markets under 40K contacts, lifetime gross profit under $3,000 or no sales system to work the leads are usually not a fit. It runs a free test campaign in some cases ("If it works, we partner"), onboarding in weeks 1 and 2, first campaigns in weeks 3 and 4 and scaling in month 2. Pricing is not published. One limit: those thresholds rule out smaller markets. Source: coldoutbound.com. Checked 18 October 2026.

Scalantec

Best for B2B teams that want a system built and then run in-house. Clay's directory describes Scalantec as a GTM engineering agency in the DACH region focused on outbound, CRM enrichment and RevOps, and lists it at Advanced Artisan tier. Its own site says it "builds the infrastructure that powers modern sales teams", across Strategy, Data, Activation, Enablement and Governance work. Its page does not mention Clay.

The entry point is a "Request GTM System Audit". Case studies describe embedded outbound and RevOps departments, one-time projects such as a three-month HubSpot lead-scoring rebuild, and one build that was "transferred, owned by their team". The site contrasts itself with agencies: "Most agencies sell you hours; we build a sales factory." Pricing is not published. The catch: outcome claims on the page, such as "You can 10x your prospecting volume", are the company's own. Source: scalantec.com. Checked 18 October 2026.

Tibexa

Best for B2B companies with a proven offer and capacity for 20+ sales calls a month. Tibexa builds and runs outbound systems that book B2B sales meetings, through four services: GTM strategy and execution, cold email and outbound systems, list building and CRM cleanup, and automation. In practice we use Clay, Smartlead, Prospeo, n8n, Sales Navigator, Crunchbase and enrichment APIs.

Clients own the infrastructure, data and copy, and there is no lock-in. We measure success on booked meetings, not opens. Our planning benchmarks are 2 to 3 percent of sends replying, 15 to 50 percent of replies positive and 30 to 50 percent of positive replies booking. Two engagements show the data-and-automation side: a UK B2B SaaS list of 50K+ verified leads built with Sales Navigator, Crunchbase and enrichment tools, with 3x campaign performance (case), and a B2B consulting firm that saw 400% more qualified leads and 70% lower cost using scraping, enrichment and AI qualification (case).

We put ourselves fifth: this page states ownership and fit limits, but it publishes no pilot length or price. Limit to know: we are not for pre-product startups, B2C companies or anyone who wants leads without sales follow-through. We did not compare ourselves against Clay's directory tiers.

The Kiln

Best for revenue and growth teams that want a small, hands-on team on bespoke projects. The Kiln describes its team as "automation experts, data scientists, and early Clay employees" and sells done-for-you work in three areas: sales (outbound automation, TAM mapping and enrichment, lead qualification, deliverability), marketing (inbound lead enrichment, account scoring, paid-ads audiences, visitor tracking) and RevOps (CRM cleaning, enrichment and lead scoring). Clay's directory lists it at Elite Studio.

Its site says "our GTM engineers only work on a few clients at a time" and contrasts its approach with "more templatized agencies". It states no engagement terms or prices. The site also says The Kiln has been acquired by 2X, and 2X's press release, dated January 6, 2026, calls it a Clay partner and says clients will get a single partner for strategy and execution. Limit to know: ownership has changed, so confirm who staffs your account. Sources: thekiln.com and 2X press release. Checked 18 October 2026.

Workflows.io

Best for B2B tech companies that want to buy GTM work as a subscription or a fixed sprint. The homepage lists four service lines: LinkedIn Content and Automated Outbound as subscriptions, RevOps ("GTM Engineering as-a-service") and an ABM Program as sprints. Clay appears in its outbound diagram next to "120+ data providers", a figure the company supplies. Clay's directory lists it at Studio tier. It names customers such as Freckle, Seam AI and Cargo, and publishes its own case-study numbers, which we did not verify.

No prices appear: offerings are only labelled "Subscription" or "Sprint", with a call to book a meeting. The page states no client caps or minimum commitments. One limit: you will need a sales call before you can compare cost with the other agencies here. Source: workflows.io. Checked 18 October 2026.

demandDrive

Best for teams that want Clay work and outsourced sales development from one partner. demandDrive sells three areas: sales services (SDR and BDR outsourcing and appointment-setting programs), growth marketing, and revenue operations, which includes "Clay implementation, automation, and management from a certified Clay Studio partner". Clay's directory also lists it at Studio tier. The industries it names include cybersecurity, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, software and telecom.

It says "you choose where to start", so a client can begin with one service and expand. The only pricing language is "outcome-based pricing for large enterprises" on variable programs; no figures are given. The page states no minimums, contract terms or capacity caps. The catch: GTM engineering is one service among several, so ask who builds and who owns the Clay workspace. Source: demanddrive.com. Checked 18 October 2026.

Go Nimbly

Best for teams whose CRM and data foundations need work before automation. Clay's directory describes Go Nimbly as AI-enabled RevOps and GTM for mid-market and enterprise companies. It sells RevOps consulting and implementation and says "AI-enabled GTM starts with a strong RevOps foundation". Its site lists a RevTech stack review, seven project workstreams (including CRM cleanup, data enrichment and AI-enabled GTM) and dedicated Clay and Gong service pages. It names customers including Intercom, Superhuman and Rippling. Clay's directory lists it at Elite Studio.

The one engagement term it publishes is a Phase 0: "This 8-12 week planning phase happens ahead of complex projects to ensure build-readiness as soon as work begins." Pricing is not published. Limit to know: the planning phase is a long run-up if you only need an outbound workflow built. Source: gonimbly.com. Checked 18 October 2026.

Questions

What does a GTM engineering agency do?

It builds the data and automation behind outbound and revenue operations: sourcing accounts, enriching and verifying records, researching them with AI and routing them to sellers. Clay defines GTM engineering as building automated revenue systems with AI, data and workflow automation.

How is GTM engineering different from RevOps?

Clay's guide says RevOps keeps the existing motion running, while GTM engineering builds new revenue plays on top of that foundation. In practice the same agency often does both, as RevPartners and Go Nimbly do.

Do these agencies publish prices?

Only RevPartners did, on the pages we checked on 18 October 2026: fractional RevOps from $9,850 to $27,000 a month and a $25,000 one-time Clay implementation. For the rest, expect to book a call, and ask about pilot length, minimums and who owns the workspace and data.

Does a higher Clay tier mean better results?

No. Clay's tier descriptions concern the size of the problems partners handle and the partnership with Clay. They are not a rating of client results.
