How we chose these agencies
Tibexa publishes this list and is a vendor. We build outbound systems (cold email, list building, automation) and we do not sell GEO or AEO, so no Tibexa entry appears and we gain nothing from whichever agency you pick. We included agencies that describe a GEO or AEO service on their own site. We ordered them on three criteria: how much the service page says you get, whether it publishes a price, and whether it states the limits of the method. Every page was checked 18 October 2026. Anything an agency says about itself is marked as its claim.
We dropped two names. Directive's homepage describes B2B SEO and content but does not mention GEO or AEO. NP Digital's GEO page returned an error when we fetched it.

What GEO and AEO mean, according to the platforms
Google's optimization guide (last updated 10 July 2026) spells the terms out: AEO is answer engine optimization and GEO is generative engine optimization. It then says that optimizing for generative AI search "is optimizing for the search experience, and thus still SEO." The same guide says Google Search ignores llms.txt files, that there is no requirement to break content into tiny pieces, and that no special schema.org markup is needed. A separate Google page says a page must be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, with "no additional technical requirements" (Google guide, Google AI features).
OpenAI and Perplexity document their crawlers. OpenAI says OAI-SearchBot surfaces sites in ChatGPT search, that sites opted out of it will not be shown in ChatGPT search answers, and that each bot setting is independent of the others, so blocking GPTBot (training) does not block search (OpenAI). Perplexity recommends allowing PerplexityBot in robots.txt to appear in its results and says that bot is not used to crawl content for AI foundation models (Perplexity).
The term GEO itself comes from a 2023 paper by Aggarwal and colleagues, accepted to KDD 2024. They report that their methods raised visibility in generative engine responses by up to 40 percent on their own benchmark, and that the effect varied by domain (arXiv 2311.09735). The benchmark was a research setup, so it says little about live ChatGPT.
What a buyer can verify, then, is crawl access, indexing and content worth citing. Anything past that is each agency's own method; for where the SEO boundary sits, see GEO vs. SEO.
Seer Interactive
Best for enterprise marketing teams that must justify AI search spending with measurement. Seer's GEO page groups the work into measurement (a prompt development and tracking plan, traffic conversion analysis), analysis (citation and source analysis, log file analysis), testing (a structured test framework) and training. Seer says it partners with Scrunch for visibility tracking.
Pricing: not published. The page says "You don't need to commit to a 12-month program to get answers." A limit to know: Seer's own FAQ and homepage say "we still call it experimental" and that "The old SEO ROI math doesn't exist for AI search yet," and its page notes that positions change constantly. The "130+ Enterprise Clients, 92% Retention Rate" line is Seer's own footer claim. Source: Seer GEO page, checked 18 October 2026.
iPullRank
Best for brands that want to match the engagement to their maturity. iPullRank's GEO page defines GEO as "the strategy for optimizing your website and content for visibility in AI Search" and offers three tiers: Emerging for start-ups and new brands, Growth for mid-market and challenger brands, and Elite for Fortune 500 companies and category leaders. Deliverables run from a visibility baseline and prompt strategy up to cross-platform measurement and executive reporting tied to revenue.
Pricing: no fee structure, contract length or minimums published. A limit to know: the page itself says "No one has fully figured out GEO yet" and that LLM outputs vary between runs. The revenue figures on iPullRank's homepage (for example $2.4B for a major bank) are its own claims with no method shown, and we did not verify them. Omniscient Digital
Best for B2B software marketing leaders who are past the pilot stage and want AI visibility linked to pipeline. The AEO page lists buyer demand modeling, a focus on comparison and "alternatives" searches, work on the publishers and review platforms that shape AI answers (original research, digital PR, third-party mentions), measurement against analytics and CRM data, and technical foundations.
Pricing as published: "Full-service engagements start at $120,000/year." Contract length and what a smaller engagement includes are not stated. A limit to know: the page says "A citation isn't a business outcome" and "AEO is evolving too quickly for static best practices," so expect experiments with uncertain results. The case-study headlines on its site (such as "+88% AI visibility") are its own figures. Source: Omniscient AEO page, checked 18 October 2026. The omniscientdigital.com domain redirects there.
Previsible
Best for enterprise revenue leaders (the page names CMOs, SEO leaders and heads of growth). Previsible's GEO strategy page has three parts: content and placement strategy (a prompt cluster map and a competitive gap analysis), visibility and measurement (benchmark baselines and recurring reports), and implementation (structured content, schema and semantic layering, knowledge graph reinforcement, feed optimization).
Pricing: not published. The page says "Engagement-based pricing is aligned to platform scope, competitive complexity, technical depth, and measurement cadence." Limits to know: it says initial visibility shifts often emerge within 30 to 60 days, without a method or sample size, and it states "We ensure you're cited" without defining what happens if citations do not appear. Google's guide says no special schema is needed for its AI features, so ask which platform the schema work targets. Source: Previsible GEO strategy page, checked 18 October 2026.
GEO Agency
Best for a small business that wants a fixed monthly price. GEO Agency (its footer lists an address in Alba, Romania) publishes three tiers: Start at $999, Premium at $1,999 and Boost at $2,999 a month. Its page lists technical SEO for AI crawlers, a GEO audit and AI visibility analysis, content optimization for AI and AI-focused backlink building, with a visibility score dashboard and monthly reports.
A limit to know: the page lists the services and the three tiers separately, so confirm in writing what each tier includes. Its testimonials (one client reports a 112 percent rise in AI visibility score in 90 days) come with no method, and it calls itself a "leading agency specializing in generative engine optimization," which is its own description. GreenBanana
Best for brands that compete on "best / vs / cost / who should I hire" prompts, the wording GreenBanana's own page uses. The service covers a GEO audit with a competitor citation map, technical GEO (crawl, indexability, rendering, schema, and llms.txt "where appropriate"), content engineering, digital PR for third-party mentions, and a 180-day roadmap with a monthly experiment log.
Pricing: not published. The page says "GEO pricing depends on scope" and gives no minimums or contract length. Limits to know: Google says Google Search ignores llms.txt, so ask what that item is for. The page cites "over 7,000 tracked events in the last 5 months from ChatGPT-driven traffic" without defining an event, and a "proprietary AI ranking analysis tool" without detail. Single Grain
Best for companies that want AEO and GEO bundled with SEO and AI implementation inside their marketing team. Single Grain's homepage says it makes sure a brand "shows up with authoritative, cited answers across every AI-powered search surface," and names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot. It also describes SingleBrain, an agent layer deployed inside client teams.
Pricing: not published. The contact form asks for a monthly marketing budget from "Less than $3,000" to "$100,000+", which is a qualifying question, not a price list. A limit to know: this entry rests on the homepage, which links to its AEO and GEO service page for the full scope. Its case-study figures (for example SmartRent "10 SQLs per month" and "$126,000 worth," which it describes as its estimate) are Single Grain's own. Questions to ask before you sign
Ask which platform the work targets and how success is measured. SparkToro's study of 2,961 responses from ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI found the same list of brands appeared in two responses less than 1 time in 100, and its author argues visibility percentage across many repeated prompts is more defensible than rank (SparkToro). The study is not peer reviewed and its co-researcher joined an AI-tracking company, which the author discloses. An agency that reports a single "ranking in ChatGPT" has not accounted for that spread.
Ask what the work includes that good SEO would not, and whether any of it conflicts with Google's published guidance. Ask how the report ties to pipeline. We hold our own outbound work to that standard: one HRTech SaaS engagement ended with $1M in active pipeline in 120 days after repositioning and rebuilt messaging, and pipeline is the unit we report in. If your near-term goal is booked meetings, our GTM strategy and outbound services do not depend on any AI engine citing you. To measure AI visibility before you hire, see AI visibility tracking tools.
Questions
What is the difference between GEO and AEO?
Google's guide defines AEO as answer engine optimization and GEO as generative engine optimization, and says both are still SEO. Agencies tend to use the terms interchangeably.
Does llms.txt help me appear in AI answers?
Google's guide says Google Search ignores llms.txt files, so adding one will neither help nor harm your visibility there. OpenAI's and Perplexity's crawler pages describe robots.txt controls for their own bots.
How much does a GEO agency cost?
Two of the seven agencies here publish prices: GEO Agency at $999, $1,999 or $2,999 a month, and Omniscient Digital with full-service engagements from $120,000 a year. The others ask you to contact them.
Can an agency guarantee that ChatGPT will cite my brand?
None of the platform documents we read offer such a guarantee. SparkToro's study found AI tools rarely repeat the same brand list, so treat any guarantee as a claim to question.
