What LinkedIn's rules say about automation
LinkedIn's help page on prohibited software says it does not allow "the use of any third party software", including "crawlers", bots, browser plug-ins or browser extensions, that "scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn's website". The page says members who use such tools are in violation of the User Agreement, that their accounts could be "restricted or shut down", and that the tools "may become non-operational without notice" (LinkedIn Help: prohibited software and extensions).
Section 8.2 of the User Agreement carries the underlying rule. In the version showing an effective date of 3 November 2025, it bars members from using "bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services" and from overriding security features or bypassing "access controls or use limits" (LinkedIn User Agreement). LinkedIn's account restrictions page says "Automated inauthentic activity violates the LinkedIn User Agreement" and can lead to temporary or permanent restriction (Account restrictions). Its invitation page adds that sending an excessive number of invitations while LinkedIn suspects automation can lead to suspension, and that repeated suspensions may lead to permanent restriction (Types of restrictions for sending invitations).
LinkedIn's Sales Navigator help also says that third-party software that automates tasks "could potentially export or scrape data from LinkedIn", and that this may violate privacy legislation in specific jurisdictions (Automated activity on LinkedIn).
LinkedIn's own route for connecting other software to Sales Navigator is its SNAP partner program, which lists partners including Gong, HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft and Zoho CRM (LinkedIn: Sales Navigator Application Platform partners). Whether to accept the account risk is the buyer's decision, and nothing here is an endorsement. We checked every page below on 18 October 2026.
How we chose and ranked these tools
Tibexa publishes this list and is a vendor of outbound services, not of LinkedIn automation. For list building we use Sales Navigator, which is LinkedIn's own product. Our cold email and outbound systems service covers multichannel work, and the decision about automating a LinkedIn account sits with the account owner.
We included only tools whose own pages we could read. We ranked on three checks, in this order: how plainly the vendor's own pages acknowledge that LinkedIn prohibits automation or put the risk on the user, whether prices are published, and whether limits are published. The order says nothing about results or safety, and no source here measures either. Product descriptions are the vendors' own. We leave out proxy, timing and detection details because they do not change LinkedIn's rule.

1. HeyReach
HeyReach is built for teams that run many LinkedIn sender accounts, such as agencies. It prices per sender: Growth at 79 dollars per sender a month (63 on yearly billing), Agency at 999 dollars a month, and Unlimited at 2,999 dollars a month, capped at 300 senders. A "sender" is a LinkedIn account added to the organization, and teammates and clients are not charged.
HeyReach is the most direct of the eight about LinkedIn's position. A blog post dated 7 August 2026 says LinkedIn's User Agreement "explicitly bans software that automates connecting, messaging, liking, and commenting", that no outreach automation tool is approved by LinkedIn, and that HeyReach is included in that. The post says LinkedIn removed the HeyReach company page on 25 March 2026.
Limit to know: its help center says the company adheres to "every LinkedIn rule to the letter" and caps accounts at 200 actions a day. That sits awkwardly beside the blog, and LinkedIn's pages above decide. Sources: HeyReach pricing, HeyReach blog, HeyReach help center. Checked 18 October 2026.
2. Expandi
Expandi describes itself as cloud-based software and suits one team that wants a single published plan. Business costs 99 dollars a month, or 79 on annual billing. Agency has no published price. A 7-day trial gives access to all features. Image and GIF personalization costs extra, and video personalization needs a paid add-on through Senspark.
Expandi says it sets daily outreach limits and "won't allow you to go over limits", which you can adjust within the platform. Its homepage footer states "Use of Expandi is at your own risk" and that it "is not an official product published by LinkedIn".
Limit to know: the pricing page shows a stray 79 and 99 dollar label beside the custom Agency plan, so confirm what Agency costs with sales. Sources: Expandi pricing, Expandi homepage. Checked 18 October 2026.
3. Waalaxy
Waalaxy lists three plans per user per month: Pro at 19 euros with 300 invitations a month, Advanced at 49 euros with 800 invitations and 500 email finder credits, and Business at 69 euros with the same 800 invitations and 500 credits. Business adds API access and Make, Zapier and n8n modules. The page offers monthly, quarterly (20 percent off) and yearly (50 percent off) billing but does not say which rate the shown prices reflect.
Waalaxy's terms of use say that the publisher of a website may expressly forbid the use of such a solution, and that you are responsible for knowing each site's operating rules before using its features. They also have you release and indemnify the publisher, Waapi, against the consequences of use outside the terms.
Limit to know: the pricing page gives monthly caps only, with no daily figures, and does not say whether the product is an extension or cloud service. Sources: Waalaxy pricing, Waalaxy terms of use. Checked 18 October 2026.
4. Dripify
Dripify describes itself as a LinkedIn automation tool that also runs email outreach. It lists Pro at 79 dollars a user a month (59 on annual billing) and Advanced at 99 (79 annual), plus a custom Enterprise plan, and each seat connects one LinkedIn account. The page says campaigns run on Dripify's servers and lists daily quotas: 75 connection requests, 100+ messages, 200+ profile views and 30 Sales Navigator InMails.
Email finder credits start at 100 a month on both plans, with packs from 29 dollars for 1,000. A 7-day trial needs no card.
Limit to know: the pricing and home pages we read say nothing about LinkedIn's User Agreement, so the rule above is the only guide to the risk. Sources: Dripify pricing, Dripify homepage. Checked 18 October 2026.
5. Skylead
Skylead calls itself a "one-stop-shop LinkedIn automation tool and cold email software". Its pricing page lists All-in-one at 100 dollars per seat a month, an Agency tier at 999 dollars a month for 25 seats or 1,999 for unlimited seats as a first-year promotion, and an annual plan with no published price (pay for 10 months, get 12). Its products also include AI data enrichment and email warm-up.
The homepage states that "Skylead is not affiliated or connected with LinkedIn in any way". It does not discuss account safety or LinkedIn's terms.
Limit to know: neither page we read says whether it runs in the cloud or as an extension, and AI enrichment and AI SDR are add-ons with no listed price. Sources: Skylead pricing, Skylead homepage. Checked 18 October 2026.
6. Meet Alfred
Meet Alfred covers LinkedIn, email and X sequences and includes a lead finder. Published annual prices per user per month are Individual at 29 dollars, Business at 49 and Teams at 39 (3 or more seats), with a custom Unlimited plan. Annual billing is said to save 40 percent. Its homepage says outreach runs from cloud infrastructure with no browser extension, and that it "stays within LinkedIn's connection and messaging limits by default".
Lead Finder results are capped by plan at 1,000 (Individual), 5,000 (Business), 10,000 (Teams and Unlimited). Multichannel sequences need Business or above.
Limit to know: monthly and quarterly rates are not shown on the page, and the homepage does not mention LinkedIn's User Agreement, so its "limits" wording does not tell you whether LinkedIn permits the tool. Sources: Meet Alfred pricing, Meet Alfred homepage. Checked 18 October 2026.
7. La Growth Machine
La Growth Machine sells LinkedIn, email and calls in one sequence, priced per identity. The Basic plan is 60 euros a month per identity with LinkedIn and email, 250 enriched leads a month and up to 3 identities. Pro adds calls and 400 enriched leads, and Ultimate adds X and 1,000 enriched leads. Custom starts at 150 euros with a six-month minimum, and Agency carries a six-identity minimum. Extra enrichment is sold separately, at 5 credits per lead for a verified email and data, or 1 credit for lead data alone.
Its homepage says it has been "safely automating LinkedIn since 2017" and that admins can configure LinkedIn and email safety limits. It does not mention LinkedIn's User Agreement.
Limit to know: the pricing page also states Pro as 110 dollars a month billed annually, which conflicts with the euro price shown, so check the final price at checkout. Sources: La Growth Machine pricing, La Growth Machine homepage. Checked 18 October 2026.
8. PhantomBuster
PhantomBuster prices by execution time and slots. A July 2026 article on its own site lists Start at 69 dollars a month (56 annual) with 20 execution hours and 5 slots, Grow at 159 (128) with 80 hours and 15 slots, and Scale at 439 (352) with 300 hours and 50 slots. A Free plan gives 30 minutes of execution time and 1 slot, with exports capped at 10 rows. Plans are per workspace, so all team members share the allowance.
Credits reset monthly and do not roll over, and execution time and slots have no mid-cycle top-ups.
Limit to know: this is PhantomBuster's own pricing explainer, not the pricing page itself, and it does not describe LinkedIn's rules. Its only account-risk guidance is general advice to keep activity steady. Source: PhantomBuster pricing explained. Checked 18 October 2026.
Questions to settle before you buy
Decide who carries the loss. A restriction hits the personal account of the person whose profile is connected, and LinkedIn says it may restrict accounts or shut them down. Connecting a rep's profile to a tool puts that person's network at risk, so get their agreement first.
Also test the channel before you automate it. Our LinkedIn outreach playbook covers manual outreach, and cold email versus LinkedIn outreach compares the two channels. Our UK SaaS list work used Sales Navigator, Crunchbase and enrichment tools to produce 50K+ verified leads (case study).
Finally, check each price against the billing unit. HeyReach bills per sender, Meet Alfred per seat, La Growth Machine per identity, and PhantomBuster per workspace, so the same team costs a different amount under each model.
Questions
Is LinkedIn automation allowed?
No. LinkedIn's help center says it does not allow third-party software, bots, plug-ins or extensions that scrape or automate activity on its site, and that members who use them risk restriction or closure.
What happens if LinkedIn restricts my account for automation?
LinkedIn says to disable the software, after which the account is re-enabled automatically at the time on the suspension notice. It also says repeated suspensions may lead to permanent restriction.
Is there an approved way to connect tools to LinkedIn?
LinkedIn runs the Sales Navigator Application Platform (SNAP) partner program. Its partner page names Gong, HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft and Zoho CRM among others.
How much do these tools cost?
Entry prices on the pages checked run from 19 euros per user a month at Waalaxy to 100 dollars per seat at Skylead. Billing units differ (sender, seat, identity, workspace), so compare on your own team size.
